According to the CAP October Dealer Survey*, 52% of respondents indicated that stock availability has increased since September. Whilst this is likely to have been helped by the recent plate change, the news is still welcoming. The concern however, is that over half of those surveyed thought footfall and consumer/retailer demand has worsened. This highlights the fact that sourcing the right stock for your forecourt is essential to attract new customers, which could include diversifying your stock profile.
