NextGear Capital Selects Salesforce to Create Complete Customer View
- Provides single customer view for office-based and field teams.
- Seamless integration with other key business systems and processes.
- Ability to develop alongside rapidly growing start-up business.
NextGear Capital UK Ltd selected Salesforce to enhance its business infrastructure for its UK launch in May, to help it launch an innovative vehicle stocking plan to the independent dealer market.
NextGear Capital wanted a cloud-based platform to hold customer data, process applications and drive digital marketing, that was able to integrate seamlessly with the Swork APAK Wholesale Funding System (WFS) for vehicle transactions.
With the new integrated system from Salesforce, Stocking Plan applications feed automatically from the website to Salesforce where they are picked up and underwritten. Credit policy rules and a decision hierarchy have been built into the Salesforce1 Platform which means decision makers can 'vote' on applications remotely and don't need to be in the office to keep applications moving.
In addition, Salesforce and WFS talk to each other in real time and use overnight web feeds to align key data. This ensured there is a single customer view across the business, including the field-based Account Managers who record customer interaction on the move via the Salesforce1 Mobile App on an iPad.
In the coming months, Salesforce will be used to drive customer-specific messages into a mobile website application to give customers even easier access to key information, providing an enhanced customer experience.
David Mercer, MD of NextGear Capital said: "We are delighted that Salesforce is able to give us a single customer view at any time, particularly as our Account Managers rely heavily on having the up to date customer data and leads that Salesforce delivers. In addition, the back office teams in our Chester headquarters use it to record developments each time they speak to a customer or carry our activity around a customer's Stocking Plan. Salesforce will be a key asset as we implement some ambitious and exciting future plans at NextGear Capital."
